Also named, based in another state

AI assistants named these companies too, but MacRAE'S lists them in a different state, not Ohio. They belong to that state's ranking, not this one.

Company	State	Mentions
Ferra Manufacturing	Michigan	5 of 15

Named, but placed in another state

The AI answers themselves put these companies in a different state, so they were not counted for Ohio. Whether MacRAE'S lists them elsewhere is not yet known.

Company	State	Mentions
Fields Welding	Kentucky	2 of 15

The five questions we asked

Every company in this cell is measured on the same questions, written the way a buyer would type them. That is what makes the ranking a comparison rather than a collection of anecdotes.

1“Best structural steel fabrication companies in Ohio”
2“Who supplies custom structural steel building frames in Ohio”
3“I need a Ohio structural steel fabrication partner for a mid-rise commercial project, who should I talk to”
4“Top structural steel fabrication suppliers in Ohio for general contractor buyers”
5“Which Ohio structural steel fabricators can handle large welded assemblies with certified field erection support”
6“List 20 structural steel fabrication companies in Ohio with their specialties.”the roster question

Each question is asked more than once, which is why a company's score is out of 15 answers rather than out of the number of questions.
