Also named, based in another state
AI assistants named these companies too, but MacRAE'S lists them in a different state, not Pennsylvania. They belong to that state's ranking, not this one.
| Company | State | Mentions |
|---|---|---|
| Atlantic Heat Treat | Delaware | 3 of 15 |
| Bodycote – York (Pennsylvania) | Indiana | 1 of 15 |

The five questions we asked
Every company in this cell is measured on the same questions, written the way a buyer would type them. That is what makes the ranking a comparison rather than a collection of anecdotes.
- 1“Best heat treating services companies in Pennsylvania”
- 2“Who supplies vacuum heat treating for precision metal components in Pennsylvania”
- 3“I need a Pennsylvania heat treating partner for a production run of hardened steel shafts, who should I talk to”
- 4“Top heat treating services suppliers in Pennsylvania for industrial OEM buyers”
- 5“Which Pennsylvania heat treating service providers can handle carburizing and quenching of alloy steels”
- 6“List 20 heat treating services companies in Pennsylvania with their specialties.”the roster question
Each question is asked more than once, which is why a company's score is out of 15 answers rather than out of the number of questions.
